Johanna Ross has extensive experience in education, serving as the TJHS Lead Teacher and Mock Trial Coach at Council Bluffs Community Schools since August 2015. In addition to these roles, Johanna has been a teacher of Economics, American Government, and Legal Studies in the Council Bluffs Community School District since August 2014. With a career beginning in July 1997, Johanna initially worked as an Economics Teacher and as an Alternative Education Teacher at Kanesville Alternative High School, a pioneer in alternative schooling in Iowa. Academic qualifications include a Master's of Arts in Education from the University of Iowa, certification as a paralegal from Roosevelt University, and a Bachelor's degree in World History, with minors in Political Science and Economics, also from the University of Iowa.
