Dmitriy Kalugin-Balashov is a Senior Software Engineer at Couchbase, involved in the development of Plasma, a high-performance secondary index engine since October 2018. Previously, Dmitriy served as a Principal Software Engineer at Exnodes Inc., architecting software for XPRO UW, a wafer inspection tool, and has a background as a Senior Lecturer at Moscow State University, teaching C/C++ Multithreading Programming.
