Athanasios Alexiou has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Statistical Analyst and Front Desk at Immigration Advocacy Services, where they conducted trend analysis and handled client communication. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Lifeguard at Baruch College, ensuring the safety of individuals in the Aquatic Center. In 2017 and 2018, they held the role of Office Administrator and Sales Coordinator at Churchill Credit Solutions, where they managed client relationships and resolved financial disputes. In 2018 and 2019, they worked as an Insurance Broker at HealthMarkets, assisting clients with insurance coverage and medical planning. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Griffin Capital Securities, LLC as an Internal Sales Support Associate and later as an Internal Consultant, providing support to advisors and prospecting new opportunities. In 2022, they transitioned to Apollo Global Management Inc. as an Analyst, specializing in capital markets and private equity offerings. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Capital Markets at Cottonwood Residential from 2023 onwards.

Athanasios Alexiou completed their high school education at Brooklyn Technical High School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a diploma in Architecture. From 2013 to 2018, they attended Baruch College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. In terms of additional certifications, Athanasios obtained the Series 7 certification from FINRA in December 2019, the SIE certification from FINRA in October 2019, and the Series 63 certification from NASAA in January 2020.
