Summer McElwee is currently a student at Victoria University of Wellington, majoring in international relations, Chinese and Asian studies, with a minor in political science. Summer has work experience as a Worker in Charge - Sales Assistant at Hallenstein Brothers, Senior Sales Representative at Cotton On Group, and Retail Sales Assistant at Hannahs Shoes. Summer has also volunteered at Red Cross and GirlBoss New Zealand. Summer completed their high school education at Sacred Heart College in Lower Hutt.
