Leland Smithson has extensive experience in leadership and board governance, currently serving as a Board Member for Cottage Grove Place and Orchestra Iowa, as well as the Orchestra Iowa Foundation since 2006. Previously, Leland held the position of Chairman at SCORE East Central Iowa, contributing to small business development by connecting entrepreneurs with expert advisors, and served as Vice Chairman for the SCORE Eastern Iowa Chapter. Leland's professional background includes several presidential roles at Quintrex Data Systems, Quintrel Corporation, and My Health Diary .com, along with significant experience in software development and information systems at Micro Technology, Inc. and Westinghouse Learning Corporation. Leland is an alumnus of Drake University.
