Cheryl Macauley-James RN, BSN, CPC has extensive experience in healthcare and medical auditing, currently serving as Director of Research Operations at Cotiviti since November 2009, with previous roles including Quality Auditor and Medical Policy Research Manager. Prior to Cotiviti, Cheryl worked at PRGX as a Medicare Audit Manager-RAC, and at Emory University Hospital in the Cardio-Thoracic ICU. Cheryl’s career also includes positions as a Clinical Auditor for the State of Georgia's Department of Audits and Accounts, a Medical Review Analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and a registered professional nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Cheryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from the University of North Florida.
