Mike Cohen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications, public affairs, and local governance. Currently serving as the City Councillor for District 2 in Cote Saint-Luc since November 2005, Mike holds multiple portfolios including communications, public affairs, library and culture, local commerce, and animal protection. In addition, Mike has been the Manager of Marketing and Communications for the English Montreal School Board since February 1999 and has contributed as a travel and dining columnist for various publications since April 1994. With a freelance background in communications, marketing, and social media since 1990, Mike has also written for The Suburban Newspaper, Quebec's largest English weekly newspaper, and previously held the role of National Director of Communications at the Canadian Jewish Congress from 1988 to 1999. Mike's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism from Concordia University.
