Emily Johnstone has extensive experience in quality assurance and travel consultancy, with a career at Costco Travel spanning from May 2005 to the present. In the role of IT Manager of Quality Assurance, Emily leads multiple test teams and complex projects while also contributing as a single contributor. Responsibilities include test work estimation, risk analysis, and task delegation. Previously, as a QA Analyst, duties involved manual and automated testing of an in-house reservation system and the company website, alongside training new hires and managing test projects. Emily’s journey began as a Travel Agent at Costco, assisting members with vacation packages, and earlier as a Travel Consultant at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, managing corporate travel arrangements. Emily completed education at Bellevue College from 2009 to 2013.
