Ron Harrison

Vice President - Business Development at Cost Plus Drugs

Ron Harrison has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, beginning with their role as Account Manager at Prescription Health Services (PHS) in 1990. Ron then moved to RESTAT as National Sales Manager in 1993, where they were responsible for management and sales to large MCOs, employer groups and retail drug stores. In 1996, they founded and served as the Director of Business Development for Prudent Rx, a nationally recognized pharmacy audit and consulting firm. During their time at Prudent Rx, revenues grew over 500 percent while tripling the staff. In 2000, they joined iScribe as National Sales Director, working on the development and management of several key market channels, including PBMs, MCOs, retail drug stores and pharma.

In 2002, Ron Harrison joined CIGNA Healthcare as Pharmacy Business Development Director, providing internal and external consulting to CIGNA sales and national consulting firms. Ron then moved to MedVantx in 2006 as Director, National Sales Director, where they were responsible for product and business development of OTCAdvantage and ValuePointRx programs. In 2007, they joined Anthem as RVP, Pharmacy Account Management, where they were responsible for planning, developing, and leading a team of Account Managers. In 2019, they took on the role of Staff Vice President - Pharmacy Sales and Account Management at IngenioRx. Most recently, in 2021, Ron Harrison joined the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, PBC as Vice President - Business Development.

Ron Harrison attended California State University, Long Beach from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus in Marketing and Communication.
