Katherine Herring is a skilled graphic designer with extensive experience in creative roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer at COSI - Center of Science and Industry since June 2023, Katherine previously held the position of Creative Director at Brainchild Magazine from August 2020 to May 2023, leading the creative team for the Kent State University Honors College's literary and arts magazine. Additional graphic design experience includes a role at Kent State Student Media, where design work focused on print and web advertisements, and earlier contributions as a Layout Designer for The Kent Stater newspaper. Katherine's creative journey began with a position as a Craft and Design Center Instructor at the YMCA of the Rockies, where assistance was provided on various artistic projects and classes. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University, complementing a strong foundation built at Hilliard Davidson High School.
