Mark Newton is an experienced professional currently serving as an Independent Consultant and Interim Director since December 2023. Prior roles include Transformation Programme Director at Ayer Associates Limited from September 2022 to November 2023, where Mark led the Access, Travel & Transport transformation programme for an NHS Trust. Mark spent seven years at CoSector, University of London, first as Managing Director and previously as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing various shared services. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Business Services at Ealing Council, responsible for several operational domains, and Head of ICT, as well as Head of Technical Support at BBC News from 2000 to 2007. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Westminster and a BSc in Applied Physics from Portsmouth Polytechnic.
