Yuliya Klimushina

Yuliya Klimushina has worked in the software development industry since 2001. Yuliya began their career as a Software Developer at Khabarovsk Telecommunication Company, where they developed software applications to process phone calls information and provided administrative support of MS SQL Server databases. In 2002, they moved to Bank of Moscow as a Software Specialist. In 2006, they joined R-Style Softlab as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they led BI platform development, deployment and maintenance, and participated in data warehouse design. Yuliya also engaged with business teams to discover requirements and translate them into technical ones to build BI solutions. Additionally, they worked as a Specialist of Department of deployment at R-Style Softlab, where they deployed DWH across the company, improved and optimized existing solutions, and enhanced procedures for client’s systems dealing with data accessing, processing and loading into DWH. In 2019, they became a Contributor at Catalyst-Team. In 2020, they joined 3LR Ventures as a Data Scientist, where they defined data processing pipeline that includes data cleaning and preprocessing, as well as performing feature engineering by transforming and normalizing data. Yuliya also applied exploratory data analysis and cluster analysis to time series, and worked with decline curve analysis and type curve analysis. Currently, they are a Software Developer at Corva.

Yuliya Klimushina obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology from Pacific National University between 1997 and 2002. Yuliya has since obtained several certifications, including MongoDB Developer (DF100) from MongoDB in October 2022, Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning from Coursera in May 2021, Advanced NoSQL for Data Science from LinkedIn in April 2021, Learning Docker from LinkedIn in February 2021, Analyzing Big Data with Hive from LinkedIn in December 2020, and Apache Spark Essential Training from LinkedIn in December 2020.
