Daniel Cardoso Braga has worked in various roles since 2011. In 2011, they were an Intern at Tecnicas Reunidas in the Pressure Vessels department, where they learned the PVElite software to design pressure vessels for oil refineries, applied the ASME Code, section VII, Div. 1 to check project failures, and incorporated concepts on Pressure Vessel design to reduce costs. In 2012, they were an Intern at the Center for Petroleum Studies - UNICAMP, where they conducted PVT analysis of dead and live oil samples from pre-salt layer reservoirs, performed EOR testing in laboratory scale, and investigated interactions with CO2. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Seadrill Careers as an Engineer Trainee (STAR Program) and then as a Drilling Performance Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for tracking and analyzing Drilling Performance, making suggestions on performance-oriented maintenance on the Drilling Package, and providing procedural training. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Louisiana State University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In their role as a Graduate Research Assistant, they compiled common errors found in drilling data and proposed a direct workflow to clean raw EDR data for analysis. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, they suggested and implemented innovative ideas inside the courses. Since 2019, they have been working at Corva as a Jr. Product Manager, Product Manager, and Research Drilling Data Scientist. In these roles, they have been responsible for guiding new feature development and product roadmapping, owning the roadmap for respective products, maintaining accountability through the product/software development cycle, and owning the creation of business requirements.

Daniel Cardoso Braga has an extensive educational background. Daniel received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas between 2008 and 2013. Afterward, they attended Louisiana State University and obtained a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2019.
