Brandi Marsden

Lead - Live & Special Events at Corus Entertainment

Brandi Marsden has a diverse work experience in the broadcasting industry. Brandi'smost recent position is as an NHL Broadcast ScoreBug Operator at Dome Productions since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an XPression GFX Operator at Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation starting from September 2022.

Brandi also has extensive experience at Corus Entertainment, where they held multiple roles. Brandi began as a Global TV Promotions Coordinator and Production Coordinator in June 2003 and later became the Global TV Program Coordinator (Canwest) from 2009 to 2014. Brandi then worked as a Live Event Analyst, overseeing all aspects of live events on the Global TV network and Corus Specialty Channels from June 2014 to August 2020. Lastly, they held the position of Lead - Live & Special Events at Corus Entertainment from August 2020.

In addition to their work at Corus Entertainment, Brandi has worked at Outside Broadcast Canada as a Font Coordinator/Stats Assist from July 2022 to July 2023 and at Volleyball Canada as a Floor Director for the Volleyball Nations League (W) from June 2022 to July 2022. Brandi also had a brief role as a Venue Associate Producer at CBC/Radio-Canada during the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Brandi has also had long-term roles at CBC, including as an Associate Director - Sports from June 2012 to July 2022, an Associate Producer - Sports from June 2013 to July 2019, and as a Production Assistant - Sports from August 2001 to December 2009. Brandi also worked as a Field Producer for CBC Sports coverage of the 2018 Pyeonchang Winter Olympics.

Additionally, Brandi worked at Olympic Broadcasting Services as a Spotter from July 2021 to August 2021.

Brandi Marsden has a Certificate in French Language from The University of British Columbia, obtained from 2021 to 2024. Brandi also has a degree in Broadcasting with a focus on Television and Sports from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), earned in 1995-1996. Additionally, they have completed a course on IATSE/DGC Set Etiquette and Protocol I at Mount Royal University, although the specific dates are not provided. In 2019-2020, they attended Social School for studies in Public Relations.
