Miguel Ulloa is a seasoned Product Specialist at CorTec since February 2015, focusing on grid electrodes for active implantable devices and overseeing product development for both research and human applications. Previously, as a Product Engineer, Miguel Ulloa specialized in the design and construction of electrodes for neuromodulation, developing processes for peripheral nerve and brain stimulation electrodes. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at IMTEK, University of Freiburg, contributing to various biomedical projects, and at Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, where Miguel Ulloa engaged in the development of hermetic housings for implantable devices. Miguel Ulloa holds a Master of Science in Microsystems Engineering, Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Albert Ludwig Universität and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
