Tharani Baskaran has work experience in various roles and companies. Tharani started their career in 2010 as an Accounting Clerk at JLC International Canada Inc. Tharani then interned as an Accounts Payable Intern at UBS in 2013. In 2015, they worked as an MTO 100 Project Co-op Associate at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Tharani joined Corrosion Service Company Limited in 2017 as a Project Administrator, and later took on the role of Project Coordinator from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager at Corrosion Service Company Limited.

Tharani Baskaran completed high school at L'Amoreaux CI from 2007 to 2011. Tharani then pursued their undergraduate education at Brock University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Operations Management. In October 2017, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute.
