Patricia Quinlan, CHRL has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Patricia started their career as a Human Resources and Operations Manager at Zellers Stores in 1997, where they progressively advanced through four stores, gaining experience in all aspects of HR and store operations. In 2001, they joined Zellers as an HR Manager, specializing in Change Management. Patricia developed position descriptions, roles and responsibilities documentation, and core competency models to improve organizational structure and performance. Patricia then joined Hbc in 2001 as a Compliance Manager in HR, where they evaluated organizational readiness for change and implemented communication strategies to support change initiatives.
In 2007, Patricia Quinlan became a Human Resources Manager at Kerry's Place Autism Services. Patricia managed various HR functions, including recruitment, training, compensation, employee relations, health and safety, and policy development. Patricia also worked as a Human Resources Specialist in the same organization before leaving in 2012.
From 2012 to 2016, Patricia served as the Manager of Human Resources at the Town of Georgina, where they led and managed all corporate HR functions. Patricia'sresponsibilities included strategic planning, policy development, recruitment, compensation, performance management, and labor relations.
Currently, Patricia is the Director of Human Resources at the Town of Newmarket, starting in September 2022. they are responsible for overseeing the HR department and providing guidance on HR matters to staff and council members.

Patricia also holds a CHRM, with Honours, in Human Resources Management and an Architectural Technician Diploma, both from Humber College. In addition, they have certifications as a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and a Certified Human Resources Practitioner (CHRP) from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association.
