Dipen Patel, CPA, MAcc, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. Currently serving as the Senior Development Portfolio Controller at COPT Defense Properties since September 2020, Dipen has previously held roles at EY as an Assurance Senior and Assurance Associate from August 2016 to September 2020, where responsibilities included conducting audits and performing testing of controls. Prior to that, Dipen worked as an Accounts Payable Accountant at Kroger and gained experience as a Tax Services Intern at LBMC and an Assurance Intern at EY. Dipen holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from Middle Tennessee State University.
