Karen Cohen

Karen Cohen began their career in 1980 as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service at the National Institutes of Health. Karen then moved to Control Data Corporation in 1981, where they served as the Assistant Director of the Medical Record Department. In 1985, they joined OHIS, Inc. as Manager of Health Services. Finally, in 1986, they became the CEO of Corporate Health Resources, Inc. (CHR), a nationwide examiner network that provides occupational health exams in all 50 states and many international locations.

Karen Cohen obtained their Post-graduate Certificate in Health Record Administration from the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in 1981. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Medical Record Administration from Colby-Sawyer College between 1976 and 1980. Karen also holds a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification.
