Coronel Scharlyston Paiva is a highly experienced professional in the field of fire safety and emergency management, currently serving as a Tenente-Coronel and battalion chief at Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Espírito Santo since February 2017. With a background as Comandante do 1º Batalhão de Bombeiros in Vitória, ES, Paiva holds expertise as a Fire Investigator and is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). Educational qualifications include a Law degree from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, specialization in Public Law from EMES, and post-graduate education in public management from FAESA. Paiva has also completed military officer training with the Polícia Militar do Espírito Santo.
