Sally Luker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in conservation and environmental education. Currently serving as a Data Monitoring Officer at Bumblebee Conservation Trust since January 2023, Sally collaborates with Conservation and Science teams to optimize data collection processes. As Managing Director and Co-Founder of Budding Nature CIC since May 2016, Sally is instrumental in delivering science-led natural history education. Additionally, Sally holds the role of Associate Researcher and Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Exeter, where contributions include coordinating concerns for postgraduate teaching assistants and providing academic support across various biological sciences modules. Sally has also participated on the ERCCIS Advisory Board and serves as Hon. Secretary for the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Federation of Biological Recorders. With a strong educational background that includes a PhD in Biosciences/Ecology from the University of Exeter and expertise in both research and administrative roles, Sally has dedicated over a decade to promoting biodiversity and environmental education.
