Paula Sleeman is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in quality care and patient services. Since 2004, Paula has served as the Director of Quality and Medicine Services at Cornwall Community Hospital, where responsibilities include enhancing patient experiences and resource efficiency while fostering collaboration among healthcare teams. Previously, Paula held multiple leadership roles in patient access and flow, developing strategies for organizations facing high occupancy levels. With a background as a Patient Care Coordinator in emergency and critical care settings at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Paula also contributed as a Subject Matter Expert for the Critical Care Secretariat of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care from 2010 to 2013. Paula holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa and a nursing diploma from CEGEP de l'Outaouais.
