Jamie Knights has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career as a Senior Features Writer at South West News Service in 2007, and subsequently held various editorial roles at ITP Publishing Group and ITP Business Publishing from 2008 to 2011. During this time, Jamie served as an Online Editor and Editor for several magazines, focusing on the hospitality sector. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Freelance Magazine Editor for Travel Daily Media, while also undertaking freelance editing and communication projects for the Daily Mail. In 2014, Jamie worked as a Writer for their own company. In 2016, they became a Marketing Assistant at Truro and Penwith College, and in 2017, they joined The Cornwall College Group as a PR Manager. Over time, Jamie progressed to roles including Marketing and Communications Manager, and most recently, Head of Marketing.

Jamie Knights attended Truro School from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained GCSEs in various subjects including Maths, English, French, German, and History. They then went on to attend Camborne School and Community College from 1995 to 1998, focusing on History, English Lit, English Lang, Classics, and French. Later, Jamie enrolled at Swansea University from 1999 to 2003, pursuing a degree in History. Finally, in 2006-2007, Jamie attended Cornwall College, studying Journalism.
