Avery H. (Hal) Nelson III has held multiple senior leadership positions at Corning Incorporated since April 1991, currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Automotive, Life Sciences, and Solar. Nelson has also worked in various roles within Corning Environmental Technologies, including Vice President and General Manager, and has experience in business development related to Corning Gorilla Glass. Additionally, Nelson serves as a Board Member at Hemlock Semiconductor since 2021. Educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (2003) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from Clemson University (1990).
