Doug Romano has over 28 years of professional experience in software development and architecture. Doug began their career in 1993 as a Tech Lead and Owner at Microcon, Inc. In 1997, they served as a Senior Software Developer - Contractor at Ferguson Consulting Inc. Doug then moved to Monsanto Company in 2002, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer. In 2008, they became a Project Development Manager at Medical Decision Logic. In 2010, they were a Sr Architect at Allscripts, where they were responsible for supporting the Modern Web Applications portfolio. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Cloud Services Architect at Software Design Partners. Currently, they are a Software Architect at CSG.

Doug Romano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University. Doug also holds a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification obtained in January 2021 from Microsoft.
