Jacob Monat serves as the VP of Innovation at Cornerstone Research Group since May 2012, overseeing strategic growth planning and driving revenue growth through customer insights and technology maturation. Monat leads intellectual property strategy and manages internal investments, facilitating the transition of R&D programs into new business ventures. Previous roles include Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Director of Power & Energy Systems. Additionally, Jacob has experience as an R&D Engineering Intern at S&S Cycle, Inc. and started at Cornerstone as a Systems Engineering Research Associate. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University.
