Michael Coleman has worked in the IT field since 1995. In 2003, they began working as a Systems Analyst at VCNA Prairie Inc. In 2011, they became a consultant at Cardinal Health, where they worked with ASP.NET and VB.NET. Michael then worked as a contractor at FIS - Fidelity Information Services in 2013, where they worked with VB.NET and SQL Server. In 2015, they became a contractor IT at Anixter, where they maintained existing VB.NET Windows forms applications and made enhancements, working with two developers in Brazil. Michael then worked as a Senior Developer at OSM Worldwide in 2018, working with Visual Studio 2017 C#, SSIS, and Ad Tempus job scheduler. In the same year, they also worked as a Contractor IT at RR Donnelly, creating SSIS projects and VB code to create custom Excel files. In 2019, they became an Information Technology Consultant at Eddie Bauer Information Technology LLC, where they changed VB6, SQL Server 2003 Sales Forecasting and Planning desktop applications to run on SQL Server 2019. Currently, they are a System Engineer at Cornerstone Automation Systems, LLC (CASI), where they have completed two SQL projects working with an SQL Server 2008 database that receives data from an automated receiving line.

Michael Coleman received their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Cleveland State University between 1972 and 1976. Michael then went on to receive their Master of Science in Computer Science from De Paul University between 1979 and 1981.
