As senior director for Cornerstone Advisors, Scott Hodgins is actively involved with the firm’s benchmarking, strategic planning, technology and system selection engagements.
Scott is a contributing author for the Cornerstone Performance Report, an annual benchmarking study for mid-size banks and credit unions. He maintains a keen awareness of developments in the vendor community, and frequently demonstrates this knowledge in Cornerstone’s blog, GonzoBanker.
He has been published in BAI Banking Strategies, CU Management, Credit Union Magazine and Callahan’s Credit Union Technology Survey. He has been quoted in numerous industry publications, including American Banker, Independent Banker and Bank Technology News. Scott is an experienced professional speaker and has made presentations before a variety of trade association conferences, including BAI’s SmartTactics Conference for Profitable Retail Delivery.
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Scott spent several years at M ONE, where he developed a strong expertise in the financial outsourcing and software markets. Before that, he was community bank market manager at Sheshunoff Information Services. Scott began his career as a national bank examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a master in finance from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
