Rich Rogala has been working as a Mechanical Design Engineer since 2020 at Cornelis Networks. Prior to this, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2020, where they developed state of the art, high performance, Fabric platforms (Omni Path Architecture - OPA) used in High Performance Computing (HPC). From 2013 to 2014, they were a Sr. Mechanical Designer at Cobham Defense Electronics, where they were engaged in the development, delivery, and support of leading-edge aerospace and defense systems. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Sr. Mechanical Designer at Motorola, where they designed consumer, retail, and industrial products. In 2009, they were a Mechanical Tool Designer (Contractor) at Lutron Electronics, where they provided safe, efficient, and high quality tool and test equipment for all manufactured products. From 1997 to 2009, they were a Hardware Engineer and ProEngineer / ProIntraLink System Administrator at Unisys Corporation, where they designed the mechanical packaging on industry leading large scale computer systems.
Rich Rogala has two degrees from Delaware County Community College, an AS in Engineering and an AAS in Automated Manufacturing/Robotic Technology. Rich also holds a Solidworks 2018 CSWA Certification from Dassault Systèmes, which they obtained in August 2019.
