Brianne Wetzel is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Executive Director at the Cornelia Connelly Center since July 2022. Prior to this role, Brianne Wetzel held multiple positions at the Washington School for Girls from 2005 to July 2022, including Head of School, School Principal, Middle School Campus Administrator, and Science and Social Studies Teacher. Additional experience includes serving as a Site Alum at Response-Ability from 2007 to 2009. Brianne Wetzel holds a Doctor of Education in Education Leadership and Policy from American University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Education in Democracy, Diversity and Social Justice from Trinity Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from Rosemont College.
