Shyam Maddali is an accomplished technology professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and fraud detection. As the Co-Founder of Coris since June 2022, Shyam has played a pivotal role in the company's development. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director and Director of Data Science & Risk Engineering at WePay from June 2015 to June 2022, as well as an advisory role at Privacera focused on data science challenges from April 2017 to June 2019. Shyam founded FinBuddy, launching a mobile application at the renowned Finovate Spring 2014 conference. Previous roles at eBay included Senior Manager in Trust & Safety Applied Research, where Shyam led teams in the implementation of machine learning techniques to combat fraud. Early career experiences include positions at Sonasoft, AirFlash, and Wipro Systems, contributing to disaster recovery solutions and wireless services. Shyam holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
