Ali Yilmaz is an experienced professional in the field of metabolomics, currently serving as the Manager of the Metabolomics Division and NMR Facility Manager at William Beaumont Health System since April 2016. Ali specializes in NMR-based metabolomics for biomarker discovery across various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, OBGYN-related conditions, and schizophrenia. Prior to this role, Ali worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southampton, focusing on the development of Lab-Chip devices for Microfluidic NMR applications, and served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University at Buffalo. Ali completed a PhD at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, contributing to a solid academic foundation in the field.
