John (Joao) Melo has extensive work experience in various leadership roles primarily focused on operations, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, customer services, and security services. John (Joao) has worked for multiple companies throughout their career.

In 1993, John started their career as an Engineer at Bose Corporation, where they worked until 1997.

From 1997 to 2000, they worked as an Engineer/Project Manager at Bleck Design Group.

In 2000, John joined Top Layer Networks as an Engineering Manager, and they subsequently held the roles of Senior Project/Program Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Director of Operations and Regulatory Compliance until 2011. As a Senior Product Manager, they were responsible for product planning and marketing, gathering customer requirements, and defining the product vision. John (Joao) also oversaw product strategy, pricing, and positioning strategies.

Since 2011, John has been working at Corero Network Security. John (Joao) initially started as a Vice President of Operations, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Compliance. Over the years, their role expanded to include Customer Services, Security Services, and SOCs (Security Operations Centers). John (Joao)'sresponsibilities further diversified to encompass Advanced Development and Recurring Revenue as well. John (Joao) held various iterations of the Vice President role, continuously contributing to the company's success.

With a strong background in engineering and management, John has accumulated extensive experience in the technology and security industry, consistently holding influential positions throughout their career.

John Melo completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Boston University between 1989 and 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Managing/Marketing High Tech Products at Babson College from 1999 to 2003.
