Daniel Menichella is an experienced executive in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee at SpyBiotech since February 2021. Menichella has held significant leadership roles, including Consultant Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at CoreA Therapeutics, where the focus was on advanced immunotherapies, and Chief Executive Officer at Kaleido Biosciences, specializing in microbiome metabolic therapies. Previously, Menichella was the Chief Executive Officer of CureVac AG, leading the company during a rapid growth phase in mRNA technology, and held multiple executive positions with a strong emphasis on business development and strategy across various organizations, including Bamboo Therapeutics and AGTC. Menichella’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
