Ibrahim Alshaer is an experienced professional in information security and governance, currently serving as the Manager of Information Security & Governance at Core42 since November 2023. Previously, Ibrahim held the role of Information Security & Governance Lead at Dubai Media Incorporated from July 2018 to November 2023, and spent over eight years at Abu Dhabi Media focusing on information security. Ibrahim's career began as an Information Technology Engineer at Higher Colleges of Technology, where responsibilities included system supervision and technical fault resolution, and as an IT Support Engineer at Universal Technical LLC, managing IT equipment and project infrastructure. Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer & Software Engineering from Misr University for Science and Technology.
