Jonathan Chia is a Fuel Cell Product Engineer at CORE Energy Recovery Solutions, responsible for managing early-stage product development projects for automotive, marine, and aerospace clients transitioning to fuel cell systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Manager at Bend All Automotive ULC, where Jonathan led new product development for OEM programs with budgets of $1m-$5m CAD. Previous roles encompass Project Engineer, Process Engineer (co-op), Product/Process Development Engineering (co-op), and CAD & Hardware Development Intern at various organizations, contributing to process design, prototyping, and research initiatives. Currently pursuing an MBA at Simon Fraser University, Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from McMaster University. Jonathan is also recognized as a co-inventor on a patent related to NFC technology.
