Ron Schroers is an experienced operations and property manager with a strong background in managing large-scale facilities and parks. Currently serving as the Manager of Operations at Coppermine since April 2022, Ron coordinates the repurposing and development of a former high school property, overseeing various aspects such as capital projects and vendor contracts. Previous experience includes serving as the Park and Property Manager for Montgomery Village Foundation, where Ron managed a 320-acre parks division, and a significant tenure with the City of Westminster, Maryland, where as Director of Recreation and Parks, Ron oversaw a $1.5 million budget and secured substantial grant funding. Ron holds an Associate of Arts degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Community College of Baltimore County.
