Emmanuel Ogbomida is an accomplished academic and research leader with extensive experience in the fields of bioenergy, environmental forensics, and ecological risk assessment. Currently serving as the Director of Research, Innovation and Consultancy at Copperbelt University since February 2020, Emmanuel also holds the position of Associate Professor/Facilitator at the National Open University of Nigeria, where engagement in higher education has been ongoing since April 2006. In addition, Emmanuel is the Deputy Director and Chief Research Officer at the National Centre for Energy and Environment, focusing on research and environmental management. Past roles include Specially Appointed Associate Professor at Hokkaido University, where responsibilities included research-led teaching and Ph.D. supervision, and Assistant Professor at the same institution. Emmanuel's academic background is reinforced by a Ph.D. in Ecotoxicology and Pollution Studies from the University of Benin, along with an MSc in Ecology and Environmental Biology from the University of Ibadan and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Benin.
