Dr. Robert Clegg, PhD, CPHQ has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and organizations. Dr. Robert currently serves as the Chair of Health Administration Programs at A.T. Still University, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer at Copper Queen Community Hospital starting in January 2021.

Dr. Clegg has also been involved in academia, working as a Certified Core Adjunct Faculty member at National University since March 2013. Dr. Robert held the position of Professor at Northcentral University from December 2017 to January 2021 and served as an Associate Professor at California Health Sciences University (CHSU) from July 2013 to October 2017.

Dr. Robert'sexperience in education extends further to their role as Lead Faculty Area Chair/Certified Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix from August 2010 to July 2015. Dr. Robert also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at State Center Community College District from August 2001 to October 2014.

Dr. Clegg has demonstrated their expertise in risk management and hospital accreditation through their role as the Coordinator of Risk Management/Hospital Accreditation at Saint Agnes Medical Center for an extended period from 1999 to 2013. Dr. Robert has also worked as a Center Manager at Lincare Holdings, Inc from 2004 to 2006, and as a Program Manager at San Joaquin Valley Health Consortium from 2000 to 2004.

Dr. Robert Clegg, PhD, CPHQ has an extensive educational background in the field of healthcare and public health. Dr. Robert earned their Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University, Fresno, graduating in 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Public Health Education and Promotion, also at California State University, Fresno, completing their studies in 2007.

Dr. Clegg then went on to earn their PhD in Human Services, specializing in Health Care Administration from Capella University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In addition, they obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise. These include the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), which they obtained in May 2023. Dr. Robert also holds the Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) certification from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc, earned in March 2011. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Studies from California State University, Fresno in May 1997.
