Marcos Benítez Rubianes has a diverse work experience ranging from business development and client relationship management to advisory and managerial roles. Marcos currently serves as the Business Development Director at Copper.co, where they are responsible for driving growth and establishing partnerships. Prior to this, they worked as the General Secretary at Crypto World Zug Association, where they played a significant role in educating individuals and supporting the growth of the Blockchain ecosystem. Marcos also served as a Client Relationship Manager at Gazprombank (Switzerland) Ltd. In addition, they have held positions such as the Chief Business Development Officer and Strategic Advisor at LAPO BLOCKCHAIN AG, Business Manager at Crown Global Insurance Group LLC, and ICO Community Advisor at Smart Containers Group. Marcos has also worked in senior advisory consulting roles at PwC Switzerland and as part of the CSG Firmwide Operations team at Morgan Stanley. Marcos began their career as the Sr. Sourcing Analyst Information Technology Vendor Management at Altisource and as the Country Sales Manager at PedidosYa.com.

Marcos Benítez Rubianes attended Universidad de la República from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Law. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in AML Foundations from ACAMS and Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from West Virginia University in 2017 and 2016, respectively.
