Kristine Helen Falgren is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy, fintech research, and digital growth initiatives. Currently serving as a Policy Fellow at Dronning Marys Center – Københavns Universitet and as Head of Fintech R&D at Copenhagen Fintech since November 2021, Kristine has been instrumental in fostering collaborations between higher education institutions and the fintech industry. Prior experience includes working as a Special Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, where Kristine led tech initiatives focusing on quantum technology to attract investments. As CEO of ITU Business Development A/S, Kristine played a key role in establishing the company under the auspices of the IT University of Copenhagen. Additionally, Kristine has held various positions at Reykjavik University, contributing to the growth of the School of Computer Science and participating as a board member for Skema, an innovative computer education program. Kristine holds an MBA in Business Administration from Reykjavik University, along with project management certification from Háskóli Íslands.
