Thomas Coppel

Thomas Coppel is currently an analyst at Copenhagen Economics. Prior to this, they worked as a research associate at the Centre for Independent Studies from November 2018 to June 2019, where they worked as a data analyst for a research project mapping the level of socio-economic inequality in Australia. Prior to that, they interned at OECD-OCDE from May 2018 to July 2018, where they were part of the Inclusive Growth Unit (OECD General Secretariat). Thomas's key tasks there included supporting the day to day work of the Office of the Secretary General and working closely with the advisors on the preparation of briefing notes, talking points and other papers.

Thomas Coppel attended Lund University School of Economics and Management, where they earned their Master of Science in Economics. Thomas also attended the University of Melbourne, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Additionally, Thomas Coppel was an exchange student at the University of Virginia, where they studied economics.
