Sarina Makarov has over 10 years of experience in the human resources field. Sarina began their career in 2011 as an HR Administrative Assistant at Associated Students, Inc.- CSUF. In 2012, they became an HR Generalist at Axis Technical Group and an HR Recruiting Assistant- Temp at Pacific Life. In 2014, they took on roles as an HR Generalist at MemorialCare and a Regional HR Coordinator at Easterseals Southern California. In 2015, they were hired as a Multi-Site, Multi-State HR Manager, HR Manager, and Payroll and Development Manager at Precision Castparts. In 2019, they worked as an HR and Payroll Consultant at Western Alliance Bancorporation, an HR Business Partner at Prospect Medical Systems, and a Human Resources Consultant at Botanisol Analytics. Most recently, in 2021, they accepted the role of Director of People Experience at COPE Health Solutions.

Sarina Makarov began their educational journey in 2002 at Valencia High School, where they earned their Diploma in General Studies in 2006. Sarina then attended College of the Canyons and earned their Associate's degree in General Studies in 2008. Finally, they attended California State University, Fullerton and earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies in 2012.
