Jonny Bruton is an experienced sports and physical activity professional currently serving as the Department Manager for Sports and Physical Activity at Cope Foundation since August 2023. Jonny also contributes as a freelance coach for Hockey Ireland, focusing on participation and high-performance programmes in Munster. In addition, Jonny holds roles as the CI Mens Head Coach and Director of Hockey Development at Garryduff Sports Centre, and recently worked as a Performance and Education Officer for British Gymnastics. From 2013 to 2021, Jonny owned and operated SMART Training Gyms, which aimed to enhance the fitness of busy professionals. Jonny completed an MSc in Applied Coaching at the University of Limerick in September 2023, and earlier education was obtained at Ashton Comprehensive School in Cork.
