John Linnell currently serves as a Patient Advisor at Ansible Health, providing insights from the patient perspective since September 2021. Linnell is a dedicated advocate for COPD, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the US COPD Coalition and as State Captain for the COPD Foundation since 2014, focusing on education and legislative lobbying for early detection and awareness. Involved in academic research, Linnell is a Co-Investigator at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for a project comparing self-management programs for COPD patients and serves as a Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Chicago for a PCORI funded clinical trial. Previous roles include Executive Board member at EFFORTS, Regional Sales Director at Loyal Driver, and Marketing Manager at Bluegreen Corporation. Linnell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Luther College.
