Raúl Herrera Maldonado has extensive work experience in the IT field. Raúl started their career as an Analista Programador at Copcisa in 1999 and worked there until 2001. Raúl then joined Grupo Getronics as an Analista Programador in 2000 for a year. In 2001, they returned to Copcisa and held the role of Responsable de sistemas until 2010. From there, they became the CIO at Copcisa and continued in this position without a specified end date.

Raúl Herrera Maldonado attended Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Sistemas. Raúl later enrolled at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2003 to 2005 and obtained a degree in Ingeniería Superior en Informática. In 2015, Raúl returned to Universitat Oberta de Catalunya to pursue a Master universitario en Dirección de empresas, specializing in Dirección de las organizaciones en la economía del conocimiento.
