Miriam Akhavan, E.I.T., holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Victoria and a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Camosun College. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Copcan Civil since October 2023, Miriam previously gained experience as an Assistant Project Manager at Turner Construction Company and Kingston Construction Ltd. from June 2022 to July 2023 and February 2021 to June 2022, respectively. Prior to these roles, Miriam worked as a Project Management Intern at Pomerleau on the B-Jetty Reconstruction Project and as a Construction Project Coordinator at Bear Creek Group, contributing to the Admirals-McKenzie Interchange Project. Additionally, experience as a Cooperative Education Student at the University of Victoria was completed in late 2017.
