Kesha Carter is the Chief Diversity Officer at CCSI. Kesha has over 10 years of experience working in the Diversity and Inclusion field. Kesha Carter began their career in 2007 as a Diversity & Inclusion Specialist at Excellus BCBS. In this role, Kesha was responsible for developing policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce for the organization. Kesha also developed training schedules to educate employees and managers on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and how these can be bridged back to assist in meeting company business plans. In 2017, Kesha became the Diversity Manager at Paychex where they continued to develop policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce. Kesha also developed metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate diversity initiatives implemented and prepared quarterly reports to senior management on the value of the initiatives. In 2018, Kesha was promoted to Chief Diversity Officer at CCSI where they are responsible for leading the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts.
Kesha Carter has a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Keuka College, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Keuka College, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Human Services from Cazenovia College. Kesha is certified as a diversity professional by the Institute for Diversity and as a Six Sigma Green Belt by Villanova University. Kesha also has a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute.
They are on a team with Rodney Corry - VP, Program Management Services, Maryjoan Case - Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer, and Lenora Reid-Rose - Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives, Partnerships & Community Connectedness. Kesha Carter reports to Anne Wilder, President.
