Caroline Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Caroline started their career as a Buyer at Fenwick Limited in 1996 and worked there for five years. Caroline then joined Asda as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for product development and cost reduction across various categories.
In 2006, Caroline moved to Hallmark Cards as a Senior Product Manager, where they managed the strategic planning and growth of the gift presentation category. Caroline also reduced obsolete stock holding and successfully managed the product portfolio.
Caroline joined Morrisons in 2008 and held multiple roles during their eight-year tenure. As the Product Development Manager at Morrisons, they developed and launched over 2,000 products in the Home & Leisure category. Caroline also played a crucial role in developing a new home and leisure concept, creating the customer offer and presenting a business case for board approval.
In 2013, Caroline became the Head of Events, Marketing & Brand Planning at Morrisons. Caroline led the Trade Planning group forum, ensuring a customer-focused plan aligned with the commercial objectives. Caroline built a team of 11 members and developed the framework, processes, and strategy for effective marketing planning.
Caroline then joined Co-op Funeralcare in 2016 as the Head of Propositions. Caroline managed the existing product portfolio and developed new customer propositions, successfully building and leading a team of four.
In 2019, Caroline joined Keelham Farm Shop as the Head of Commercial, responsible for identifying strategic growth opportunities and implementing promotional and event plans.
Caroline had a brief period of seeking new opportunities in 2020 before joining Mackenzies Smokehouse & Farm Shop as the Commercial & Marketing Director. Caroline developed and executed the brand and marketing strategy, including a successful Christmas campaign to attract a new customer base.
Most recently, Caroline is working as the Customer & Marketing Director at Cooplands Scarborough. Caroline is responsible for developing the marketing and brand strategy, as well as recruiting and developing the marketing team and third-party suppliers. Caroline has already made significant achievements, including developing the brand strategy, restructuring the team, and introducing new formats and propositions.
