Aklilu Mulugeta is an experienced professional in the field of geological and geophysical engineering, currently serving as a Project Manager at COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale since June 2022. Prior to this role, Aklilu held the position of Senior Hydrogeologist and General Manager at Miracle Geotechnical Services and Geosciences Consultancy from October 2016 to June 2022, focusing on natural resource exploration, exploitation, and natural hazard assessment. Aklilu began their career as a junior exploration geologist at Benzu Gold Mining Ethiopia in 2013. Aklilu earned a Master of Science degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Mekelle University, completing the program in June 2018.
